Looking for homes listed as short sales in Wilmington?  Well...there's nothing short about it.  There's a bit of a misconception about short sales.  In general, you're not going to get much of a deal if you're buying a short sale.  Especially if you consider the unknown time element of waiting for the may-never-happen-in-your-lifetime bank approval process.  Meanwhile, you might miss out on other homes that are much easier transactions to complete.  Who knows why the lenders generally can't make a decision within 60-90 days.   That being said, if you're looking for a deal, check out the foreclosures in the area.  You're more likely to get a better deal on a bank-owned home than a short sale.  If you're still interested in looking at short sales in the Wilmington area...here they are.
